Elite Accreditation Fuels Startup Growth with Considered-First Approach
for Government Projects 

Singapore – April 27, 2020 – Privitar, the global leader in sensitive data management, is now accredited by the Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore under the Accreditation@SG Digital (Accreditation@SGD). Privitar will help organisations across Singapore maximize the value of the data they collect, manage, and use, while at the same time, minimize their data risk. Privitar will be considered first for government projects and benefit from streamlined procurement processes that shorten the amount of time to conclude the contracting process with Singapore government agencies.

The Accreditation@SGD programme was launched in 2014 to accelerate the growth of Singapore-based innovative technology product companies, helping them to establish credentials, grow and compete globally to become the next digital champions. Companies considered for the programme are evaluated from a technical, financial and operational perspective.

Privitar has successfully met the stringent criteria of the Accreditation@SGD’s evaluation process. The company recently announced an $80 million Series C funding round led by Warburg Pincus, which will be used to accelerate the development of its data privacy platform, fuel continued innovation, and support key growth initiatives, with a focus on international expansion. In addition, Privitar just announced its launch in the AWS Marketplace, and achievement of AWS Security Competency and AWS Data and Analytics Competency status.
