Privitar, the leading privacy engineering software business, today announced a number of strategic executive appointments to bolster the firm’s sales and marketing team, in response to growing demand across financial services and telecommunications.

Russel Smith has been appointed Chief Revenue Officer, with an impressive 20-year track record within the financial services sector, leading teams at Thomson Reuters and Misys. James Kenney joins as Senior Account Director, bringing extensive knowledge of the European telecoms industry, he was most recently with Hortonworks. Daniel Cohen joins Privitar’s pre-sales team, previously at JP Morgan and Datastax.

In addition to these significant sales hires, Nikki Stones joins to spearhead the new marketing function, and brings over 15 years marketing experience, spanning early stage start-ups through to some of the world’s largest enterprises including KPMG, Schlumberger and Accenture.
